Simple Protein Pancakes

There are many different ways to make Protein pancakes. I already shared with you the recipes of  my Cottage Cheese Protein pancakes (, also of my dear Blueberry Protein pancakes (

Nevertheless, I keep on coming up with new ideas of how to make Protein pancakes, which actually became a tradition of our Saturday’s brunch. For the several months now It’s been a rule that on Saturdays I hold the hardest training session, whereas afterwards I come back home and we enjoy a huge plate of Protein pancakes.. Brilliant reward for a hard work at the gym! Perfect combination of carbohydrates and proteins, which we should all enjoy.

As I said, I keep on changing the recipe of protein pancakes… they all taste brilliant, but I always want to try something new, some new taste, new consistency, new ingredients, new smell or flavour and more..

So I decided to share with you a very basic recipe for Protein Pancakes, which you can make as written here, or add some extra ingredients, which would bring in new tastes into your Protein pancakes.

P.s. I prefer adding one chopped Questbar, some fresh blueberries or strawberries, coconut shred or dried fruits.

Makes 2 big servings

2 scoops of Chocolate Coconut Protein powder

90 g oat flour

2 ripe bananas

6 egg whites

2 tsp baking powder

1 tsp cocoa

a bit of vanilla extract

Optional: add blueberries, strawberries, chopped Questbar or anything else you would love to try in your Protein pancakes!

  1. Mash the bananas, add oat flour, protein and baking powders, vanilla extract, cocoa and crack the egg whites in it, stirring until the mixture becomes somewhat homogenized.
  2. Optional: toss blueberries, strawberries, chopped Questbar or any other ingredients into the batter and mix using a spoon.


  3. Place a skillet on medium-high heat, add a bit of coconut oil and cook the pancakes for about 1,5 minute on the first side, and about 1 minute on the other side.
